MEXICAN CARIBBEAN WAY OF LIFE

For most of us "a piece of Heaven on Earth" includes a combination of sand, sea, and sun.  This is exactly what offers the 200 miles of the Riviera Maya, with its talcum-powder beaches, underground rivers, archaeological sites and an iridescent blue Caribbean sea. Riviera Maya with its warm climate all year long and its superb beaches is a dream destination. Just relax and enjoy its unforgettable life style.

You will be able to manage your real estate investment, while having a good time:

-   Golf in one of the world-class golf courses over viewing the Caribbean.

-  Enjoy extreme sports like kite surf, parasail, ATV ridding, jungle crossing, zip lines, or any water sports like surfing, windsurfing, skydiving, scuba diving in the coral reef, snorkelling in the cenotes or caves.

Swim with the dolphins at certain periods of the year, or take a long ride on a horse along the breathtaking beaches of white sand.

-  Discover one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve ... or visit Xcaret, the eco archaeological park made for the whole family to have fun.

Go back in the past by following the footsteps of the Mayas in El Castillo, a preserved Mayan village  by the sea.

-  You may even decide to boogie the night away  to the sound of live music at a local hotspot or in one iof the numerous clubs. Streets are clean and safe to walk at night, people are friendly and unhurried...

And this is just a glimpse of the Mexican Caribbean way of life……..

PLAYA DEL CARMEN

The fishing village of Playa del Carmen situated in the middle of the Riviera Maya (40 minutes drive from the international airports in Cancun or Cozumel) has become the center point between the major areas of interest -Tulum, Xcaret Xel.Ha – in the state of Quintana Roo.

Playa Del Carmen is a rare mix of culture and environment.  Surrounded by incredible jungles, breathtaking underground rivers, and pre-Hispanic Mayan ruins, sits this charming beachfront village awash in Mexican and European culture.  Nowhere are these influences felt more than on Quinta Ave, the pedestrian promenade which is the heart of Playa Del Carmen.  It has retained its natural charm while incorporating up-to-date development, with miles of sandy palm lined beaches, bordered by the clear waters of the Caribbean.  There are hundreds of varied restaurants, with tranquil and serene atmosphere along the pedestrian walkway.

PUERTO MORELOS

Between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos has maintained the peaceful atmosphere of a charming Mexican fishing village.  Fishermen and foreigners work together to protect its status as a National Marine Park, which holds one of the world’s largest coral reefs. 20 miles north, the Barrier Reef comes nearby the beach, and since the National Marine Park has been created, it’s an ideal place for snorkelling and diving.

TULUM

Tulum lies in the extreme south of the Riviera Maya, curled up between the white sands of the crystalline beaches and the lush tropical jungle.  The famous Mayan ruins ‘’El Castillo’’ built on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean, offers a spectacular view. Tulum is an archaeological site by the edge of the sea, but also a small village which affirms a management based on a spirit of conservation for the natural heritage, in a sustainable development spirit.

The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve

Sian Ka’an is translated from Mayan as "where the sky is born" or "gift from the sky". The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve was established on the 20th of January 1986 by presidential decree and became part of UNESCO's program ‘’Man and the Biosphere’’ that same year. In 1987 the reserve was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site,  and was the first established Biosphere Reserve in Mexico. It is currently a UNESCO World Heritage site and remains a high priority of protection for the state of Mexico.

As the third largest protected area in Mexico, the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve comprises 1.3 million acres of tropical ecosystemsin the State of Quintana Roo. Consisting of lowland forest, flooded savannas, mangroves, and a portion of the world's second largest coastal barrier reef-- the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef--the Reserve is home to 800 plant species and provides habitat for 350 species of birds, as well as jaguar, puma, ocelot, spider and howler monkeys, crocodiles, and many types of turtles. Additionally, the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is home to 23 different archaeological sites of pre-Columbian culture.

Ecotourism is trendy. It is the marriage of an altruistic mission to an economic model. It’s a concept especially made for those who care for nature : you can enjoy it in the Riviera Maya.

………..Living in Riviera Maya is an overwhelming experience….. You will be enchanted….
